| As conduits of God’s love, to put our faith into action that others may experience God’s grace and be drawn into a closer relationship with Him through the Gospel. |
At Risen Savior - Human Care.... We Care
One of a Christian's responsibilities is helping others as a response to God's love.
"Then the righteous will answer him,
'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you
something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or
needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison
and go to visit you?' "The King will reply, '1 tell you the truth,
whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you-did
for me.'
Matthew 25:37-40
Risen Savior is blessed to have a wide
variety of Human Care Ministries with men and women who
are willing to serve others. With more persons becoming
involved, the possibilities for what God can do through
us become endless. We welcome new ideas and new workers
with open arms, minds, and hearts. Please call Deaconess
Jeri to volunteer your help.
From childhood we are trained to be independent doers,
accustomed to giving help when we see a need. However,
we are not in the habit of asking for help.
Ecclesiastes teaches that change is constant. There will
be times when we must weep, mourn, be ill, and get well.
If you have needs do not hesitate to call so we may be
of service to you.
