Fair White Elephant Parade requests one parade judge from Risen Savior.
If you are interested and willing (parade is October 23rd), please
contact the church office.
Sunday
Coffee Hosts needed during the summer months. Bible study will continue
so the decision was made to continue having coffee only on Sunday
mornings. Would you be willing to volunteer to help? A sign-up sheet can
be found inn the Narthex. If you have any questions, please contact
Rosie at 625-2612.
The
Radio Broadcast chart has a lot of empty spaces! Wouldn't you like to be
a part of this very important ministry? Ask a friend or two if they
would like to co-sponsor a date with you.
The Food Bank on Continental will be closed beginning July 5th for about
a month for work on their parking lot. You may still bring your food
donations to to LCRS. They will be taken to the "Good Shepherd Food
Pantry" so people in need may still be served. Thank you for your
continued support of the local food bank.
Summer
Pre-Service Hymn Sing: For about 10 minutes prior to the Divine Service,
worshipers are invited to select songs and hymns. Each week, one
songbook will be used. New This Year: you may select non-hymnal songs or
hymns. We must receive these requests in writing, and we will then
project the lyrics on the screen in a following week. Plan to arrive and
be seated for prayer by 8:45.... singing will begin about 8:50.

Summer Bible Studies Class Sunday Mornings- "The Life of Jesus:
Parables," is 12 weeks long. Each week we will get to dig into a
different parable, learn about the cultural context, and what it means
for us today. As with the past few summers, each week stands alone, and is
taught by a different person. If you are interested in teaching once,
please let Deaconess Jeri know. See the
