S.O.U.L. Lunch THIS Thursday, May 24th from 11:00 am - 12:30 pm. As we heard in the lesson last week-end, Jesus tells us to "love one another as I have loved you." Come and share a tasty lunch, pleasant conversation, good music, and an opportunity to show your love for friends. Please remember S.O.U.L. is an acronym for "Sharing Our (Christ's) Unconditional Love." Be a part of it - share God's Spirit as we prepare for Pentecost!

REMINDER: MAY 27TH is the Day of Pentecost. We invite you to wear red – for worship support … and to bring a witness to our community! Bible study will include passages, prayer and practice. Join us for a brief discussion of witnessing plans, places and people. This will be an indoor-outdoor exercise!

Gracepoint Kids Camp (VBS): As we draw closer to the start of our Kids Camp (beginning June 10th), we ask that you remember the program prayerfully. Registration is also in full swing, and forms are available on our website, www.gracepointsahuarita.org, or at Gracepoint or Risen Savior Lutheran Church. Cost is just $10/child, $30/family, and dinner is included all five nights! If you know someone who might be interested, please pass along the information. In addition to prayer, there are other ways you can help out! Items Needed to Borrow: jump ropes/ropes, hard plastic baby pool x2 (need TWO), box fan (x2), parachute, 6 or 8 pool noodles, large tarp for ground, large blanket for ground, hula hoops (x5), hair dryers with cold setting (not just a cold button) (x2), toy sword, “Roman” Helmet, toy thermometer, teddy bear, If you have an item you are willing to loan, please contact Sarah Eschenbrenner at 241-5326 or seethe06@gmail.com and arrangements can be made for the pick-up and return of the item(s). Another Way to Contribute: If you would like to make a monetary contribution towards the 2012 Kids Camp, please make your check payable to “Gracepoint Lutheran Church” and in the memo line note “Kids Camp”. We are hoping to serve the community by hosting up to 70 children this year! The actual cost of Kids Camp is approximately $50 per child. Your contribution of any amount is greatly appreciated!

 “Debt Reduction” envelope in your carton is earmarked for Gracepoint Lutheran Church, our “daughter” congregation. Please respond as you are led … and keep them in prayer!

Note: Summer Office Hours have begun. Effective May 1st the church office is open Monday through Thursday 8:00am – 2:00pm.

We are in need of flower vases again. Please bring them to the Sacristy.

Life Thoughts in the Church Year:  Mothers often exemplify the sacrificial love of Jesus (John 15:13) in so many ways. Perhaps the greatest love and motherly sacrifice occurs when that unmarried teen mom decides to do what is best for her and her baby and makes an adoption plan for her child.
